eWallexpress is, like Click2Pay, a service very much in the mold of Neteller. With ewalletXpress, you can store funds to have on hand whenever you want to make a deposit into one of your online poker accounts. Transfers to and from poker sites are not charged a fee. It is, however, only available to Canada and U.S. residents.
The main way to fund your eWalletxpress account is through a checking account, however users may also use money order or bank wire. This processor does offer a couple of extra funding methods for Canadian customers, namely online bill payment and Interac e-mail money transfer, both of which are very fast. Canadians can also fund their account with Xpress funds chequing. US players can also use 900Pay to fund their account.
While ewalletXpress appears to be a simple and familiar payment processing method, it does have a few weaknesses. First, it is relatively fee-heavy compared to its peers- for example they charge 10% up to $150 on withdrawal amounts. Second, withdrawals can only be made over the phone or via email.
There is a deposit limit of $150 on the initial deposit for Americans, which is a registration verification. After that, Americans are able to deposit up to $750 per week in their eWalletexpress account using their checking account, Xpress Funds Checking and $1000 per day for money orders. In addition, American users may increase their Xpress Funds checking limits up to $4,500 per week. However, this includes extra validation on the part of the user. There are three validation levels which can be increased every 60 days. The first validated level of $1,500 per week can be achieved after the account has been funded for the first time. It will take 120 days for a user to get the maximum increase of $4,500 per week for validated level 3. There is no limit on the amount that can be used for bank wire transfers. When making a deposit using eWalletXpress you may need your access code (it may also be referred to as a "TAN code").
The following fees are applicable for Americans depositing into their eWalletxpress account: initial checking deposit is free, $10 fee on subsequent basic checking deposits, 8.8% fee on all Xpress funds transfers, $15 for bank wires, and 15% for 900Pay. Money orders are free.
For Canadians, the deposit limit is $750 CAD per week for Basic Chequing and Xpress Funds Chequing, and $1000 every 24-48 hours for online bill payment, Xpress Funds Bill payment, Interac Email Money Transfer and Money Order. Bank Wire has no limit. There is a $10 CAD fee on Basic Chequing, 8.8% on Xpress Funds Checking, $1.50 CAD on Xpress Funds Bill Payment and Interac email money transfer and $15 on bank wires. Online Bill Payment and money orders are free.
eWalletXpress is not a payment method offered by all online poker rooms, however more rooms are starting to support them. They are currently available at sites such as Bodog, Ultimate Bet, Cake Poker and Merge Gaming rooms. Bodog does not support eWalletxpress cashouts, however.
