In order to win a bad beat jackpot, you want to have a really great hand… which gets beaten by an even better great hand. To qualify for a share of the bad beat jackpot, you must be seated at the table and dealt cards in the bad beat hand. That’s it. Of course, in order to earn a big piece of the bad beat jackpot, you want to be either the player who wins the pot or, preferably, the player who loses the pot in a showdown.

The minimum qualification for the Fortune Poker bad beat jackpot is Four 2s. That means you have to make a hand of 2222X or better, using both your hole cards.
