24hPoker is offering a bit of a twist on a couple of new poker games – Russian Roulette and Triple or Nothing Sit and Gos.
Russian Roulette – The concept of Russian Roulette SNGs is very straight forward; all players are put ‘all in’ at the beginning of every hand. Play continues until only one player is left standing, which means most games of Russian Roulette end after a single hand (unless two or more players tie).
Russian Roulette SNGs are played in a 10-player format and are available in the following stake levels: €1+0.05; €3+0.15; €5+0.25; and €10+0.5. Not the fees are only 5% compared with the usual 10% charged for SNGs.
Triple or Nothing – Triple or Nothing SNGs are a new development in the increasingly popular SNG elimination tournaments. Same concept as Double or Nothing tournaments, except only a third of the players will make the money. However, unlike a regular SNG where prizes increase with higher finishing positions, TONs divide the prize money equally amongst the winners.
There are two TON formats: 6-seater and 9-seater. In the 6 player TON, the top 2 finishers split the prize pool equally, and in a 9 player TON the top 3 split the cash. Buy-ins are: €1+0.1; €2+0.2; €3+0.3; €5+0.5; €10+1; and €20+2.
